The body is a unit, though it is made up of many parts; and though all its parts are many, they form one body. So it is with Christ. For we were all baptised by one Spirit into one body- whether Jews or Greeks, slave or free- and we were all given the one Spirit to drink. 1 Corinthians 12:12-13.
During this week we have been asked to pray for Church Unity. My thoughts go to the Church in Nigeria who are suffering persecution. It is estimated that more than 2,200 Christian were killed in 2020 making the total since 2009 nearly 34,400, five of whom were killed over last Christmas. As one part of the body hurts so does the whole, do pray for our brothers and sisters in Nigeria.
