Message for December 2020

Our minister, Ken Martin, has this short message for you.

In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shines’ in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.John 1:4-5

There are two L s here, Life and Light. In these two words we have the reason why Jesus, God’s Son came into the world. He came to give us LIFE, assuring us of eternal life because of his death on the cross and his resurrection. Jesus himself said, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” John 14:6. The second word is LIGHT. John the Baptist refers to Jesus being the Light of the world. “The true light that gives light to every man was coming into the world.” John 1:9. It is great that we can celebrate this Christmas time that God sent His Son as a light to show us the way back into a relationship with Him.
