On this Easter Sunday, when we celebrate our risen and glorified Lord we meet together, that we may take time in our homes to pray, read God’s Word and look at a few thoughts that the Lord has put on my heart for us all.
Come with joy.
Come with praise.
Come with expectation and wonder.
He has been raised from the dead!
Come and worship our risen Lord.
Let us pray: ending with the Lord’s Prayer together.
Holy and risen Lord, we come to worship you on this special day, Easter Day. We thank you for all you have done for us. We lift our eyes to honour you, living Lord Jesus. You have overcome death; fill us with your joy and new life. Risen Lord Jesus, we adore you and praise your name. Today you defeated death and rose again. You died on the cross to take away our sins. Thank you, risen Lord, that you did this for us, so that we might enjoy the freedom of eternal life. Risen Lord Jesus, we love you, we worship you, we adore you. Amen.

Prayers of Intercessions
God of grace, we bring before you our Queen and Prime Minister and all those who have no joy and no hope, those who see no future, no light at the end of the tunnel, those scarred by pain and sadness, those who grieve, we think of Stuart and his family at the loss of his mother Elizabeth, Anne and her family at the loss of her husband. We pray for Ted suffering in hospital, Molly and Pauline with leg pain and all the Church Family keeping isolated because of the virus. For the students at Regents College and our Missionary Family in Sweden and family members working in hospitals, care homes and in our shops at this difficult time. God of grace and resurrection power, bring your joy and healing today. Amen
May the risen Christ fill you with hope.
May the risen Christ give you joy.
May the risen Christ bring you healing and peace.
May God bless you, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Amen
